A man of kindness attracts favor,
while a cruel man attracts nothing but trouble. Proverbs 11:17
This proverb is dedicated to my husband Ken, who is the kindest man I have ever known. Marriage is such a tremendous gift, and when you find the one you are to share life with; you find unique fulfillment. When this special person is your best friend, and the love of your life; and you have God at the center of your relationship, you experience success.
If you are in the process of trusting God for your life mate, a calling, or a dream you believe that God has put on your heart; then rest assured that He will do what is best for you and or that special person. He does everything in His time and in His way, which will test and refine your character. But I can tell you from experience, that God’s ways are best, and always worth the wait.
Ken isn’t perfect, he is perfect for me, and God knows who or what that is for you, your call, your dream, etc. And this kind man, attracts favor, I witness it all the time. Ken is a gift in my life. The Bible tells us that: “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17. Our Father of the heavenly lights has a good and perfect gift for you. Are you ready to trust Him, His ways, and His timing?
- I encourage you to wait on Him in trust, and to listen, for the One who knows and loves you most is always with you. “Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9.

I have waited on the Lord (not always patiently), and He has answered me wonderfully, and in ways I never expected. When we pray in faith and wait patiently, God miraculously provides.

Thank you for this encouragement. I also have learned to REST in the waiting of all HIS good and perfect gifts for me. HE knows us best and what we need, when we need it. I love how GOD works!
