Living a life of love is for real;
Objective and caring perspective.
Vital incarnate kindness that heals,
Eternally we are love’s captive.
Illuminating what is right,
Saturates with purest light.
Participate don’t be partial,
Abide in harmony with truth.
Teach long-suffering to martial;
Intuitive, caring, never uncouth.
Entreat, inquire, without assumption.
No “eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth;”
Treat the heart without presumption.
Love is patient. Love is a lifestyle. Love keeps the best in mind for all. Love is light. Love sustains us in every situation (if we will let Him). Love links arms with kindness and compassion. Love is a friend of forgiveness. Love reminds us to walk in another’s shoes. Love wants to be our life-long companion.
“But I show mercy to thousands of generations of those who love Me and obey my commandments” Deuteronomy 5:10 (GW).
Be encouraged to make love your focus today with family, friends, and those you encounter. Let love lead you in silent prayers for each one. Love will cause a pause in your day to give thanks to the One who is love, and makes love possible.
Blessings,
Jacquie ♥
Beautiful, Jacquie. Let us pray for the grace to have love as our life’s companion.

Thanks, Jacqquie. Several years ago there was a controversy in St. John’s. Some people, including me, objected to having rainbow crosswalks painted on the roads. I wrote to the mayor to tell him that Christians consider the rainbow to be a sacred symbol of God’s covenant with man. It is not appropriate for people to be treading on this symbol painted on the ground.The mayor ignored my letter. The snow that fell in St. John’s last week was nothing like anyone had ever witnessed before. Today it is raining, and there are fears of flooding because there is so much melting snow, and the city is very hilly. I wonder if God is making a comment about people walking on the rainbows painted on the road. Of course, no one knows, but I was thinking of this. ( We live in a rural fishing village, 3 hours away from St. John’s.)

I am blessed that you wrote the Mayor with godly perspective, bringing light to the darkness. I pray God’s will, love, and protection over you all, and look forward to hearing about how this all resolves. God bless you Sally, for standing in the light ♥

Ryan, I wrote this poem a long time ago and scheduled it early last week. It fits with what you so beautifully wrote regarding the tragic death of Kobe and his daughter. God bless you and your family ♥

Thank you Melissa ♥ As soon as I saw this photo, I had to key on patience; even though I didn’t overtly highlight this virtue in my post. Blessings to you and your sweet family ♥

What a beautiful poem, Jacquie ❤️. You illustrate the point that love is more than worth it. It is the only way. And I love how you describe in closing that Love will walk with us if we let “Him”. A precious reminder of the best example of love we have.

How amazing it is to me the timing of your post! We just heard a sermon on love and were in JOHN 15…….abiding in HIS love is incomprehensibly glorious!! Abide, remain, stay. GOD’S love for us is beyond our understanding, but we can be certain of it!!
