Our children and youth need Hope, they need to be loved and cherished. May we be the one’s to bring them the love of Christ, and the best news they will ever hear!

I pray God’s mighty blessings upon you as you consider how you may encourage a child in your influence today.

Blessings,

Jacquie ♥

I am a writer and counselor, who embraces joy and holds tight to hope. I live with my husband Ken, of 44 years, and he is the love of my life. I enjoy inspirational and devotional writing, home decor, gardening, and being in community. My husband and I are missionaries to children in Washington State, and love the privilege of being with them.

  1. Today was rough for one of our little boys who is in foster care. When I found him, he was crying while he told me that he wanted “to go home.” Whether or not he wanted to go to his foster home or to his mother, I do not know, but my heart broke as I did my best to comfort him. Our children are suffering at the expense of sinful decisions made by those who are supposed to love and protect them. We need to do what we can when we can. A little bit of love will go a long way ❤️

  2. Jacquie, Thanks for your encouragement! We always pray and read a Bible story with our kids before bed and sometimes as parents we want to rush through it as we’re tired and nearly done with bedtime routine. But it’s such a valuable time and we’re teaching our little ones to really know God. You’re so right that we must be the ones to teach and show them God because the world teaches quite the opposite. Blessings on you.
