A Future and A Hope

“I know the plans I have for you, to give you a future and a hope”. Jeremiah 29:11

If you or anyone you know would be interested in offering a future and a hope to our children, please feel free to forward this along. Otherwise, please know how much Ken and I appreciate your prayers and varied support. We are grateful.

I am a writer and counselor, who embraces joy and holds tight to hope. I live with my husband Ken, of 44 years, and he is the love of my life. I enjoy inspirational and devotional writing, home decor, gardening, and being in community. My husband and I are missionaries to children in Washington State, and love the privilege of being with them.

  1. Thanks for doing this important work in the Kingdom of God. I wonder if you have heard this …
Imagine two candles. One tall. One short. Both lit. If they were to represent people, many would say that the tall one would represent adults while the short one would represent kids. Well, it’s not like that! The tall one represents the kids. They have so much more light/time left in them. Hence, it is so important to invest the Gospel there. Blessings as you continue to invest in the future for Christ.

    1. I’ve not heard this parable, thank you so much for sharing this Heidi! What a beautiful truth. As I consider Psalm 8:2, this truth comes with a resounding Yes! “You have built a stronghold by the songs of babies.
Strength rises up with the chorus of singing children. This kind of praise has the power to shut Satan’s mouth.
Childlike worship will silence the madness of those who oppose you. (TPT). Blessings in this advent season! ♥
