Deception feeds perception, so if our thoughts are not anchored in Christ Jesus, we can and will believe whatever sounds right, or aligns with human logic.
Deception| perception versus truth| faith: When we read and know God’s Word, the Bible, we build the foundation of faith. This is critical because the very nature of deception is that we do not know when we are deceived. According to Miriam Webster.com: Deception is the act of causing someone to accept as true or valid what is false or invalid:the act of deceiving.

The best way I know to walk in the Truth is to spend time with its Author. One definition of truth in Webster’s dictionary 1828.com, is: “Veracity; purity from falsehood; practice of speaking truth; habitual disposition to speak truth; as when we say, a man is a man of truth.”
Today, be encouraged to let the true and living God and His Word occupy your heart, so that deception | perception becomes truth| faith. I pray Psalm 26:3, for us all: For Your loving-kindness is before my eyes, and I have walked in Your truth [faithfully].(AMPC).

Currently, much of the trending news is sensationalism or just false. We are blessed to have the Bible and our faith to guide us to the correct path.
