In times of desert darkness of soul, abandoned notions
taking their toll.
I wander weary woeful in thought; undone, unhappy
Of ramble-roll in darkness of soul, I clearly see
stuck in this dull-dreary-darkness befitting a mole.
Bring me from this darkness,
and into your marvelous light;
from a life filled with starkness,
to one that's shining so bright.
Speaking faith to you my soul, for
you must do just what you're told.
Directed to His lifesaving light, now
reaching, realizing heavenly heights.
We must speak to our soul in times of darkness and trouble, lest the darkness and trouble win. Because our soul is revived by the living Word of God, this is my prayer for you today:
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope, comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say. I Thessalonians 2:16-17 (NLV).
