Christ is calling us to change and rearrange.
Recount His blessing while troubles are pressing.
Under grace, we will keep pace.
Citing the Word is power transferred, His
Inner courts contain joys – all sorts.
Believe and bear when standing in prayer.
Life isn’t transfixed, so don’t be bewitched;
Exert His promise, don’t be like Thomas.
 Opposing thinking, a deadly winking, at
Faith that remains strong; for to Him you belong.
 Carry your burdens to Him who is certain – to
Have things in hand; your troubles withstand.
Abide steadfastly through the ghastly.
No care for the morrow, will all its sorrow, but
Grow strong in the trial with Christian style;
Engage in Him fully, don’t be unruly.

“You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. “Trust [confidently] in the Lord forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner], For the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages]. Isaiah 26:3-4 (AMP).

I wrote this acrostic while considering different crucibles we encounter in this life, and the first and most constant is change. Because life is never static, there are changes that sometimes alter our course dramatically. I pray that as change [of any size] takes place, that we will walk in trust and grace knowing that the details of our lives are in God’s most capable hands.
