Thank you Dawn for tagging me in this Love Chain Blog developed by Matthew. You encourage me with your acts of love toward humanity that come from His love within you. I am grateful for God’s love which is beyond comprehension, but will do my best to convey what His love means in my life. May you, dear reader, be encouraged to show God’s love in your writing, and in your life.

Right now, God’s love is enveloping me in our grandson’s visit from Kansas, which is a precious privilege as he is a “heritage from the Lord.” He is a godly young man who is kindhearted, and brings us great joy.

In addition, our focus is on children as we participate in 5-Day-Clubs, and VBS with churches in our region. My heart swells as I consider:

Mark 10:16 “And He took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.” This is what it feels like as we share Scripture, games, Bible stories, and crafts with the children. Our precious Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, love these precious ones in a way that brings wholeness into broken lives.

We just met a boy in one of our summer ministries that came to club the week before we arrived. We were told that he would barely make eye contact, and wouldn’t really talk with anyone. While we were with the children, he came up to us talking and making up games, and we just thought he was outgoing and creative. The volunteers assured us this was not the same little boy that came last week. What transformation! It is God’s love alone that melts fear, and awakens joy in dormant and broken hearts. I cannot help but praise His Name.

It seems impossible to do justice to the miraculous love our God is and baptizes us in; all I can do is share glimpses of how He reveals Himself in my little corner of the world. How much does He love the children?

Psalm 8:2, tells us: “Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.” So, when I meet children who do not know Jesus, and or who live in painful situations, does my heart ache for these little ones? Yes. Does God love His creation with an everlasting love? Yes. Whether that creation is in the womb, or 120 years old, His love is outstretched ready to meet us at our need.

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is [who] we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him” I John 3:1. I pray that you know Jesus, and that through your relationship with Him, you may know His immeasurable Love.

Blessings,

Jacquie ♥
