Keep Yourself in His Love

The love walk happens through intimacy as we look for mercy within the Godhead.

By God’s mercy we have eternal life, and therefore we are kept safe in God’s love. We will look for Jesus’ mercy and look up in times of joy, times of sadness, and times of need. We must trust in Him alone knowing that “no weapon formed against [us] shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17 NKJV).

“Keep yourself in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life” (Jude 1:21 KJV). Keeping ourselves in the love of our Father means spending time with Him and His Word. The love walk happens through intimacy as we look for mercy within the Godhead. Reliance on the Holy Spirit is essential. He is commissioned to lead and to guide us. He knows the Way, for the Father has revealed it to Him out of His love for us.

God’s love for us is eternal, His provision and direction are never ending. He cares about what matters to us, and when we miss the mark, He is there to help us course correct. Is there an area in your life today that needs His attention? Are you having difficulty remembering what a mighty God we serve, or that His love is healing?

His Word is here to redirect to the truth: ‘Ah Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! There is nothing too difficult or too wonderful for You—“’ (Jeremiah 32:17 AMP). What a mighty God we serve!

Blessings,

  1. Thanks Jacquie! Your message is a confirmation of what the Holy Spirit has been teaching me. Love should be the root of everything. All of our works and relationships should be rooted in love. Intimacy with the Lord and His Word is what will keep our hearts and minds rooted in His love. ❤️
