Not Alone

There is so much more to this life than just surviving the next hurdle.

Overcome with the complexity of living in community? While relationships, cares of this life, and the myriad cultural, and political concerns push their way to the forefront, we know the One who knows all, sees all, and is in all. We pray then to the One who can help.

What’s your story?

Are you sensing a need for God? Have things of this life hollowed you out until you don’t know who you are anymore? There is so much more to this life than just surviving the next hurdle. He longs to protect and shelter you in the storm. Pray to the lover of your soul who longs to love and guide you, to give you His gift of peace. Your part is to focus on Him, His love, and His truth:

Awe and Adoration

Your love circles me with songs of deliverance.

My God and my King, to you I sing,

Grateful praises to the holy One.

I close my eyes and am swept away

The tears come as cares are lifted.

In your presence

With gratitude I bow;

I lift my hands surrendering

With awe and adoration.

Come my King and touch your people.

Exchange your love for our fears.

In your presence

With gratitude we’ll bow;

We’ll lift our hands surrendering

With awe and adoration.

This is my response to Psalm 35. Verse 1: “Contend, LORD, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me…Awake, and rise to my defense! Contend for me my God and Lord.” Verse 10: My whole being will exclaim,
    “Who is like you, Lord?
You rescue the poor from those too strong for them,
    the poor and needy from those who rob them.”

The sense of His love and protection surround, and my heart
is secure. Awash with peace and love that only God can provide, I find shelter
in His love, and worship flows.

Blessings,

Jacquie ♥
