Sunday

I awoke ready to get started on this rainy day, just to discover it’s a little after 4 a.m. The photo of the Bleeding Hearts is from our previous home, and fits where my mind has been. It’s still winter, but I cannot stop thinking about spring.

It’s time for nature to shift gears and get on with it, right? We have Dahlias to plant here at Joy Cottage, and just looking at the pictures of the beautiful blooms against the backdrop of dark . . . well you get the idea.

The beauty of spring and beyond really is worth the wait, and so I will be sure to post our plantings when they bloom in their own time.

For now, I will get some coffee and remind myself that this is a day to rejoice in regardless the season. ; )
